We heard you!  ICL is offering a new board development workshop.  This productive half-day workshop will give you an in-depth look into the ten basic responsibilities of nonprofit boards and the twelve principles of governance that power exceptional boards.  Designed specifically for those who have a basic appreciation of responsibilities and governance - and especially for those who have attended ICL's Core Responsibilities workshop - this intermediate workshop takes you to the next level of understanding of board governance.

You will cover:

- The distinction between responsible and exceptional boards and how you
  can make a difference.
- Transforming your board's vision into lasting value for your organization.
- How your board can support its organization and make it thrive.
- Board responsibilities including strategic planning, financial oversight,
supporting the chief executive, and legal integrity.
- And much more!

At the workshop, participants will gain insights from national research and best practices, and have the opportunity to work in groups to discuss relevant issues and develop specific ideas to bring back to their own organizations.  You will go home with numerous practical handouts.
